YMCA Madagascar - Young Men's Christian Association of Madagascar is a Malagasy association, founded in Madagascar, governed by the law 60 - 133 of October 3, 1960, and which brings together young people:

  • Conscious of their decisive role as citizens in the building of a society of peace and justice for all,
  • Considering the need to unite their efforts to bear witness to God's love and Christian principles through the improvement of the living conditions of the people, especially young people, in the face of the great challenges of our time;
  • Convinced of the relevance of the terms of the Paris Basis of 1855: the foundation of the World Alliance of YMCAs and the updating and implementation of 21 challenges of the same principle,
  • Committed to working in solidarity with the great family of YMCAs around the world, and particularly the movements on the African continent.

The Young Men's Christian Association is composed of:
'Active members; Honorary members; Supporting members'

  • A supporting member is any individual or legal entity who supports the movement materially and/or technically.
